Programme duration: Two- and Three-year programmes 

Location: North East, Yorkshire, The Humber and northern Lincolnshire

Starting salary: £22,074 – £26,317 (experience dependent) with a potential earnings capability c. £50k as an established Craftsperson

Our experienced learner two-year apprenticeship programme will build on the experience and skills you already have and fine-tune them for your onward career as a fully qualified Power Network Craftsperson. Experience working within an industrial or electrical environment is preferable, where adherence to health and safety policies is vital. Other relevant experience in any of the following will also be considered:

•  Ground Works

•  Plumbing

•  Electricians

•  Army communication kit (operation and maintenance)

•  Ex-Armed Forces

•  Building or construction general operative i.e. groundwork, dumper driving, digger driving, pipe laying

•  Joiners or Fitters

Our young adult three-year apprenticeship programme will provide comprehensive training in all the necessary skills and qualify you in one of the following Power Network Craftsperson roles:

•  Overhead Lineperson – construct and maintain overhead electricity lines

•  Underground Cable Jointer – repair, install and connect underground electricity cables

•  Electrical Fitter – install and maintain electrical plant and equipment.
