Protection and Commissioning Engineer
Location: Northeast, Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire
The Field Operations team are responsible for delivering technical solutions and projects to ensure the network develops to a smarter, more flexible network that is central to the region’s journey to net zero.
This is an exciting opportunity at a time of significant and fascinating change within the energy sector, and distribution networks will be at the heart of achieving net zero. As a Protection and Commissioning Engineer, you will be an integral part of achieving this.
What will you do?
•Identify customer requirements and firm up protection commissioning schedules
•Protection commissioning for Customer Connections and Regional Network Construction Projects up to 132kV
•Fault finding and repair on protection and SCADA systems
•Carry out protection maintenance on protection systems
•Maintain and update protection related record including drawings
•Produce protection relay settings
