Location: North East, Yorkshire, The Humber and northern Lincolnshire

Programme duration: Three years 

Starting salary: £22,074 with a potential earnings capability c. £50k as an established Craftsperson

If you’re successful, you’ll get to carry out a three-year apprenticeship programme and train in one of the following roles:

Overhead Lineperson – construct and maintain overhead electricity lines

Underground Cable Jointer – repair, install and connect underground electricity cables

Electrical Fitter – install and maintain electrical plant and equipment.

We run a comprehensive candidate assessment process that includes attendance at an assessment centre followed by a face to face interview. The dates for these will be:

Assessment centre dates: Various dates between 3rd July – 11th July 2025

Interviews: 21 July – 8 August

Start dates: October and November

This application is a 2-part process. In the first part, you will confirm your personal details including education history and work history (if applicable). In the second part, you will be asked 8 competency type questions where you will respond to the first 6 by typing your response then the last 2 by videoing your response. We cannot accept your application unless you complete both parts.
