Location: Northeast & Yorkshire

The Engineering team are responsible for planning and designing technical solutions to ensure the network develops to a smarter, more flexible network that is central to the region’s journey to net zero.

This is an exciting opportunity at a time of significant and fascinating change within the energy sector, and distribution networks will be at the heart of achieving net zero. As an Asset Management Engineer, you will be an integral part of achieving this.

What will you do?

·Manage and develop the assets risk and health index models

·Developing risk modelling tools and capabilities within the business and national frameworks

·Tracking and regulatory reporting of health indices and other requirements

·Effectively communicating with internal/external engineering bodies

·Supporting colleagues in developing and justifying both asset intervention strategies and individual project solutions

•Excellent technical knowledge, including a detailed understanding of the HV and EHV network

Excellent verbal and written skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders from across the business and wider industry
