Land Rights Liaison Officer

The Field Operations team are responsible for obtaining land rights and environmental agreements for our construction teams to ensure the network develops to a smarter, more flexible system that is central to the region’s journey to net zero

We have a number opportunities for enthusiastic individuals who wish to develop a career as a Land Right Liaison Officer in our Field Operations Land Rights Team.

Working as part of a large team, you’ll be responsible for arranging access onto land for maintenance and construction works as well as settling basic land damage claims. The role covers a range of activities including: 

•Completion of basic rent reviews and lease renewals, 

•New site acquisitions,

•Resolution of maintenance responsibilities and access rights to our substations

•Creation and processing of wayleave (land rights) agreements, easements and land access permissions,

•Negotiation and settlement of agricultural, wayleave and property loss claims, and

•Processing planning and environmental agreements.

Starting salary: £26,456 – £29,058 (+ Company car scheme/allowance)
