Location: Northeast, Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire

The Field Operations team are responsible for delivering technical solutions and projects to ensure the network develops to a smarter, more flexible network that is central to the region’s journey to net zero.

This is an exciting opportunity at a time of significant and fascinating change within the energy sector, and distribution networks will be at the heart of achieving net zero. As a Protection Applications Engineer, you will be an integral part of achieving this.

What will you do?

•Carry out detailed protection applications designs for HV up to 132kV systems

•Develop new protection solutions to meet the requirement of a future smart grid

•Integrate protection and SCADA systems to deliver cost effective design solutions

•Develop and mentor less experienced members of the team

•Effectively manage workload to achieve internal and external standards
